Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • Two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience managing people preferred
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry trades
  • Knowledge of generators, fire pumps, and electrical switchgears
  • Trade license preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Previous experience in maintenance and engineering including electrical, plumbing, and air conditioning
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

  • Experience with all aspects of maintenance and engineering, especially electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and equipment maintenance
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise staff and manage overall daily operations during assigned shifts
  • Oversee general maintenance, installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and water distribution systems
  • Create efficient and effective work schedules while managing labor costs and achieving guest satisfaction
  • Assist in departmental budgeting, provide recommendations, ensure compliance with budget goals, and report concerns to management
  • Manage maintenance and construction projects, determining best practices for using in-house resources or external vendors
  • Inspect completed projects to ensure satisfactory outcomes
  • Ensure OSHA safety standards are followed during shifts
  • Manage grounds crew and maintain property grounds
