Job Requirements

  • Be enrolled at UAF with six or more credit hours in the current semester or have been enrolled the preceding semester with plans to enroll next semester
  • Have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA or be a newly enrolled student
  • Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record in compliance with UA Safe Driving Criteria
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions
  • Willingness to undergo a background check
  • Ability to work on campus and during required shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled at UAF with a minimum of six credit hours or recently enrolled with plans to continue enrollment
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or newly enrolled student
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and punctual with a commitment to safety

Job Duties

  • Operate shuttle vehicles to transport students, faculty, and staff safely across campus
  • Provide excellent customer service to all shuttle patrons
  • Adhere to all university and state driving safety regulations
  • Assist with maintaining shuttle vehicle cleanliness and readiness
  • Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly
  • Communicate effectively with the Facilities Services team and supervisors
  • Support other Facilities Services tasks as assigned
