Job Requirements
- At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to GS-06 grade level in federal service or equivalent experience in private or public sector
- Knowledge of marine berthing facilities, operations, regulations, and procedures
- Ability to assist harbor pilots with the proper berthing of ships
- Capability to act as liaison between Berthing Services Officer and fleet units
- Experience serving as pier safety representative to supervise hazardous materials handling
