Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- one year experience in building maintenance
- Certified Pool Operator certification preferred
- bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
- current First Aid or other safety certifications as required by the Club
- computer literate with experience with Microsoft Office
- skilled in light maintenance, basic repairs, and project-based activities
- ability to effectively communicate positively and effectively with housekeepers, porters, and supervisors
- desire to contribute to a productive work environment by maintaining a positive attitude
- must be self-motivated, follow direction, and able to work independently with little supervision
- must demonstrate initiative and ability to make independent decisions based on sound judgment
- must be able to consistently achieve high work standards including attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
- must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected
- position requires a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends with regularly changing shifts
- overtime may be possible during busy season
- valid driver's license required

Job Duties
- Communicate the core values and mission of BlueStar Resort & Golf to support the achievement of company goals
- provide detail-oriented janitorial services including sweeping, mopping, dusting, window cleaning, vacuuming, laundry
- provide pool, spa, and water features maintenance to keep them clean and free of debris
- report potential issues related to pool and water features to the Maintenance Director
- assist Maintenance Director with facility repairs and preventative maintenance
- keep logs of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly activities including maintenance and water testing results
- ensure all indoor and outdoor furniture and fitness equipment are properly placed
- maintain bathrooms, light bulbs, patio furniture, and fitness equipment
- keep room supplies clean and organized
- provide seasonal and holiday assistance with club decorations
- work in a safe manner using personal protective equipment
- set up and take down all events and activities as directed
- perform other duties as assigned
