Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read building blueprints
- Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
- Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience strongly preferred in Assisted Living, Senior Living, Hotels or Multi-Family Housing
- Demonstrated successful use of technology in the workplace including MS Office and electronic work order systems like TELS
- Ability to work flexible schedules in 24 hour operation including weekends as needed
- Consistent and reliable attendance is essential

Job Duties
- Ensures the building maintenance program is well maintained and ensures all company housekeeping standards are met
- Ensures all life safety code requirements for assisted living and memory care communities are met and maintains documentation to support
- Manages electronic work order system and completes or delegates repairs as needed
- Coordinates with outside vendors as needed for maintenance and supplies
- Conducts apartment inspections and coordinates make-ready process
- Responds to after-hours maintenance related emergency calls
- Manages Building Engineer Assistant and Housekeepers
- Collaborate with community leadership, regional teams, and corporate support to align with organizational goals
- Lead staffing efforts, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, coaching, employee training, and task delegation
