Job Requirements

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and must meet NAA driving record requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain eligibility to hold a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and licensed for at least 3 years
  • License must be active and not suspended
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, standing, and walking extensively
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift objects up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in awkward positions and read blueprints and computer printouts
  • Ability to work under exposure to refrigerants, natural gas, high noise levels, high speed equipment, high voltage, acids and alkalis, and other chemicals
  • Submit current DMV driving record dated within 30 days of posting date

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Trade school or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in general building maintenance
  • Knowledge and ability to use power and hand tools
  • Knowledge of practices and materials used in building maintenance
  • Good organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Assist other departmental personnel in the maintenance of building equipment whenever necessary
  • Replacing HVAC filters
  • Replacement of light bulbs
  • Perform daily equipment checks
  • Clean and restore airport facilities and equipment rooms as required or specified
  • Conduct snow removal operations
  • Administer and adhere to all Authority policies and guidelines
