Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of facilities maintenance experience
- valid driver's license
- strong interpersonal skills to interact with tenants, contractors and management
- holds and maintains a specific certification or license in HVAC, electrical, plumbing or related fields
- U.S. work authorization is required

- degree from a two or four-year college or university is a plus
- experience with Yardi or equivalent software is beneficial
Job Duties
- Focus on aesthetics of a property or group of properties
- grounds and parking lot clean up
- verifies all lighting systems are operating properly
- attention to detail on cleanliness of entrances of tenant suites or spaces
- perform routine checks and sign offs of fire extinguishers and exit or emergency lights within the property or properties
- snow and ice removal as necessary
- identifying any potential safety hazards on a property or group of properties
- maintaining landscapes and hardscapes within the property or properties
- support for other maintenance technicians when necessary
- responsible for the cleanliness of the shop or working areas
- takes on work orders from tenants within a property or group of properties
- deals directly with tenants on building issues or issues within their leased spaces
- communicates issues with their respective manager
- takes direction from their manager on daily tasks or initiatives
- responsible for the general maintenance and orderliness of the property HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems, including inspections and repairs
- maintains inventory and organization of commonly used parts and equipment
- participates in 24/7 on call rotation for tenant needs and emergencies including after hour calls
