Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights above 20 feet
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Ability to perform duties in extreme temperature conditions
- Ability to enter and work in confined spaces
- Willingness to complete a 12-month probationary period
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a background check
Job Qualifications
- Training or experience in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment
- Experience in customer service including assisting tenants and the public
- Knowledge of grounds maintenance such as lawn care and snow removal
- Ability to operate computer data systems like automated building management and computerized maintenance management systems
- Familiarity with interpreting direct digital control system information
- Experience with building construction and repair
- Understanding of chemical water treatment for boilers and cooling towers
- Ability to coordinate and assist trades workers and contractors
Job Duties
- Perform inspections and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Respond to critical building issues during nights and weekends
- Conduct preventive maintenance and system testing
- Climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding to perform maintenance at heights over 20 feet
- Lift up to 50 lbs and operate in confined spaces to repair and maintain facilities
- Assist with grounds maintenance including lawn care and snow removal
- Operate computerized maintenance management and building management systems
