Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in general maintenance, housekeeping, or janitorial services in golf club environment
  • Familiarity with cleaning procedures and sanitation best practices
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces including carpets, windows, restrooms
  • Previous training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance preferred
  • Adherence to OSHA regulations, electrical codes, and facility maintenance compliance
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 pounds
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in general maintenance, housekeeping, or janitorial services preferably in a golf club environment
  • Familiarity with cleaning procedures and sanitation best practices
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces such as carpets, windows, and restrooms
  • Previous training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance is beneficial
  • Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA regulations, electrical codes, and other facility maintenance compliance standards

Job Duties

  • Maintain carpets clean by vacuuming and spot cleaning where necessary
  • Keep all floors swept, mopped, and polished, including courts, exercise rooms, stairwells, lobby and hallway areas, restrooms, and other needed areas
  • Dust and wipe down furniture, shelves, chair arms, desks, credenzas, chandeliers, pictures, televisions, woodwork, artwork, and all ceiling HVAC registers
  • Complete daily assignments in respective areas to meet club standards including organizing work areas, arranging entry areas, and picking up trash and debris
  • Perform or contract facility maintenance and housekeeping repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, building equipment, carpentry, flooring, walls, ceilings, and special projects
  • Maintain a maintenance and project checklist and schedule for preventive maintenance and improvements
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor to coordinate, prioritize, document, and complete work requests from department heads, members, and guests
