Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years experience in general maintenance, housekeeping, or janitorial services in golf club environment
  • ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs on occasion
  • ability to perform physical activities such as squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, and bending
  • frequent sitting, standing, walking, and driving
  • occasional exposure to temperature changes, dust, fumes, or gases
  • availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours to meet deadlines
  • adherence to attendance and punctuality requirements
  • good communication skills
  • commitment to safety practices

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years experience in general maintenance, housekeeping, or janitorial services preferably in a golf club environment
  • familiarity with cleaning procedures and sanitation best practices
  • knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces including carpets, windows, restrooms, and high-traffic areas
  • training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance is a plus
  • knowledge of and adherence to OSHA regulations, electrical codes, and facility maintenance compliance

Job Duties

  • Maintain carpets clean by vacuuming and spot cleaning where necessary
  • keep all floors swept, mopped, and polished including courts, exercise rooms, stairwells, lobby and hallway areas, restrooms, and other needed areas
  • dust and wipe down furniture, shelves, chair arms, desks, credenzas, chandeliers, pictures, televisions, woodwork, artwork, and all ceiling HVAC registers
  • ensure daily assignments are completed to meet club standards and communicated expectations including orderly work areas, arranged entry areas, and trash/debris pickup
  • perform or contract facility maintenance and housekeeping repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, building equipment, carpentry, flooring, walls, ceilings, special projects
  • maintain a maintenance and project checklist/schedule for preventive maintenance and ongoing improvements
  • communicate effectively with supervisor to coordinate, prioritize, document, and complete work requests from department heads, members, and guests
  • assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management
  • follow all company, club, and department policies and procedures
  • maintain professionalism and commitment to excellence in interactions
  • follow safe working practices and ensure compliance with safety guidelines
  • take initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain required certifications
  • address and resolve challenges using available resources and collaborate with regional and corporate teams
  • attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities
