Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to perform medium work including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to comply with universal precautions and safety protocols
- Ability to travel as needed
- Availability to work part-time weekends
- Willingness to perform cleaning and housekeeping duties
- Ability to adhere to company mission and values

- Knowledge of and adherence to safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively

- Demonstrated respect for residents’ rights and dignity
Job Duties
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met
- Clean floor surfaces, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies using vacuum cleaners, shampooers and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines
- Empty trash receptacles and clean and maintain windows, walls, woodwork, and light fixtures
- Recognize the need for housing maintenance or hazards and submit work orders for repair
- Follow universal precautions and strict procedures regarding cleaners or hazardous materials or objects and infection control, isolation, fire, safety and sanitation practices
- Observe precautions required to protect customer property, report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors
- Sort, count and mark clothing and other articles, load washing machines, iron and fold dried items, and store them in linen closets
- Perform various errands such as taking laundry to the cleaners, buying groceries and household supplies, and record expenditures as necessary
- Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations, media equipment, and furniture for social or business functions
- Understand, comply with, and promote all rules regarding residents’ rights, promote independence, choice and empowerment of individuals receiving services and treat individuals with dignity and respect
- Maintain knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures regarding housekeeping
- Perform other related duties and activities as required
