Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years post-high school education or equivalent experience
- Ability to read write speak and understand English
- Positive attitude with good customer relation skills
- Ability to perform a wide range of physical activities including pushing pulling lifting bending kneeling and reaching
- No lifting restrictions
- Ability to use MS Office Paylocity payroll software and YMCA specific software within four weeks of hire
- Ability to prioritize work and manage stress daily

Job Duties
- Supervise custodial staff including scheduling assigning and directing work
- Assist the Facilities Director in recruiting hiring training and termination of custodial staff
- Develop and implement projects and task schedules
- Identify facility needs related to cleanliness and repair
- Provide shift coverage as needed
- Supervise facilities equipment and maintenance needs to ensure high quality and safety
- Support the YMCA mission vision and goals and promote character development
- Cultivate member-focused staff fully trained in customer service
- Cultivate member relationships to encourage volunteerism
- Manage special projects as assigned
- Order custodial stock and maintain inventory levels
- Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors
- Notify Facilities Director of safety and facility conditions
- Operate carpet floor and Kaivac cleaning equipment
- Maintain cleanliness by sweeping mopping dusting and cleaning furniture fixtures glass and restrooms
- Collect and dispose of trash recycling and soiled towels
- Arrange furniture and furnishings
- Perform landscaping and snow removal tasks
