Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in park or facility operations or event coordination
  • forklift operator certificate or willingness to complete forklift training within 90 days
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • attention to detail
  • ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • commitment to safety and professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, facility operations, parks & recreation, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in park or facility support, venue operations, or event coordination
  • experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and production teams
  • forklift operator certificate or commitment to obtain within 90 days
  • experience with general maintenance or facility systems is a plus
  • familiarity with safety regulations and accessibility requirements
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • detail-oriented and customer-service minded
  • high ethics and professionalism
  • flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • proficient in Microsoft Office
  • passion for public space, sustainability, and community development is a plus

Job Duties

  • support day-to-day park facility operations by coordinating vendors and contractors
  • assist with park programs, events, and venue rentals
  • serve as primary point of contact for event producers and production contracts
  • ensure safe, efficient, and seamless visitor and event experiences
  • coordinate setup, logistics, and service coordination for events
  • supervise park facilities during rental events and concerts
  • collaborate with multiple departments to meet operational needs and ensure compliance with rules and safety regulations
  • resolve operational or event-related onsite issues
  • track and report vendor performance and event operations
  • document incidents and maintenance needs for continuous improvement
  • support special projects related to facility operations or events
  • contribute to a safe, accessible, and high-quality park experience
