Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • able to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds assisted
  • fluent in English with strong reading and writing operational proficiency
  • US person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site requirements

  • experience in aerospace manufacturing environment preferred

Job Duties

  • undertake tasks in compliance with standard work and training and report any safety or quality problems to team leader
  • exemplify safety-first mindset and follow health, safety and environmental policies

  • become certified at lean foundation level and implement at least one kaizen per month
  • support team and team leader in problem solving and contribute ideas
  • be an active team member promoting collective engagement
  • comply with legal and regulatory requirements including equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, compliance and ethics policy on contracting with US government, and export control regulations
  • record and maintain accurate production records
  • work wearing a respirator
  • handle chemicals and resins in manufacturing
  • use measuring tools such as micrometer, scale and calipers
  • comprehend and follow verbal and written manufacturing instructions
  • work in a team environment
