Job Requirements
- Be currently employed at the Sanford facility or complex
- Have been in current position for at least 90 days
- Maintain no more than four attendance points in the last six months
- Have no written warnings or suspensions within the last six months
- Be physically able to perform job duties with or without accommodation
- Willingness to work 3rd shift
- Ability to perform tasks in warm, humid and noisy environments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in machine operation preferred
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor equipment
- Good communication skills for reporting issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working in physically demanding environments
Job Duties
- Operate machinery to ensure continuous flow of products through production line
- Ensure proper ingredients and supplies are used on the line
- Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed
- Notify supervisor if machines require maintenance
- Maintain a safe work environment adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
- Perform routine physical tasks in warm, humid, or slippery conditions
- Wear appropriate protective equipment including hearing protection
