Job Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for security clearance
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Secret clearance required prior to start date
- Willingness to work onsite at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio
- Ability to work different shifts including weekends, holidays, and respond to casual overtime as needed
- Minimum educational qualifications as stated
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must comply with company and government safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in related aviation management, engineering, technical, or logistics field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Associate’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience or 9+ total years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date
- Customer support experience preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Advanced data analytics skills preferred
- Familiarity with the F135 propulsion system preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced military HQ or operations center environment
- Excellent presentation skills with experience briefing executive-level personnel including General/Flag Officers and Government/Industry representatives
Job Duties
- Act as the propulsion representative for F135 fleet issues, status, and actions within the Global Operations Center and liaise between internal and external customers including Sustaining Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Field Operations
- Focus on improving overall F135 aircraft availability and ensure communication of all Non-Mission Capable propulsion status to leadership
- Maintain status documentation, actively track and provide Action Request status updates, support and host daily meetings, review fleet issues and provide updates to leadership
- Keep Global Operations Center processes current, implement best practices, identify problems, assist with root cause investigations, and execute corrective actions
- Actively support continuous improvement initiatives such as creating standard work, value stream mapping, and processing improvements
- Ensure employee safety by complying with Environmental Health & Safety activities
- Work flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays with potential for casual overtime as part of a 24/7/365 operation
