The role of Cashier at Angry Chickz is a vital position that involves being the initial point of contact for customers as they enter the restaurant. The Cashier will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, handling both cash and card payments, and managing the register with precision to ensure all cash is accounted for by the end of each shift. Job Requirements

  • Wear Angry Chickz uniform as well as non-slip shoes required by safety department
  • Able to speak clearly and comprehend directions in English
  • Able to read English
  • Ability to read/speak Spanish is extremely helpful but not mandatory
  • Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Repetitive hand use

Job Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to handle money accurately and responsibly
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends
  • Prior cashier or customer service experience is a plus

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet customers and provide them with menu details or any promotional information
  • Accurately take orders, ensuring special requests or dietary needs are communicated to the kitchen team
  • Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring all cash is accounted for and registers balance at the end of your shift
  • Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front counter area
  • Collaborate with the FOH team to ensure seamless operations and a positive customer experience
  • Bag and wrap to-go orders
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
