Job Requirements
- Physical ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear
- Ability to lift at least 80 pounds
- Frequent use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls

Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years food and beverage supervisory or management outlet experience preferably in a hotel of similar size
- Complete knowledge and strict adherence to state liquor regulations including service restrictions
- Food handling certificate
- Knowledge of various food service styles including French, Russian, tableside flambé, butler style service
- Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
- Familiarity with food and beverage cost controls
- Certification in alcohol awareness program
- Computer literate
Job Duties
- Spends 80% of their shift outside supervising the team members and communicating with guests to ensure memorable experiences
- Cover staff breaks when needed
- Train in all outlets and able to cover shifts in all areas as needed
- Complete stand up daily and in the event of staggered shifts hold multiple meetings
- Ensure during this meeting that uniform and grooming standards are addressed
- Know and communicate all Forbes service standards
- Train all incoming staff on all Forbes star service standards
- Consistently perform audits to ensure team members are performing to standard
- Ensure staff completes Daily Opening and Closing Checklists
- Ensure completion of the Manager Timeline Checklists and Daily Recap Report on every shift
- Assists with adhering to city rules and codes regarding beach and pool operations
- Resolve all guest issues and follow up to ensure satisfaction
- Communicate guest issues and outcomes to F&B management team in real time
- Perform monthly inventory
- Enter weekly schedules in payroll system and update timesheets on every shift
- Update attendance tracker as needed
- Maintain good knowledge of current food and beverage trends and menu presentation
- Has working knowledge of restaurant and bar promotions, cost control, beverage inventory, purchasing, and checkbook accounting
- Ensure all staff is trained to hotel standards and government food handling regulations
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
- Create, maintain and distribute weekly schedules
- Evaluate and supervise performance and carry out disciplinary action as needed
- Attend and participate in weekly management meetings
- Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure appropriate staff levels for all events
- Maximize food and beverage sales through marketing, promotions, special events, and staff training on up-selling
- Communicate with service and kitchen staff regarding reservations and special events
- Establish par levels for supplies and equipment
- Complete requisitions for shortages or anticipated business needs
- Develop and implement employee engagement strategies
- Responsible for safety, sanitation and cleanliness of outlets
- Manage multiple tasks effectively
- Exhibit strong commitment to guest service and professional complaint resolution
- Assist with updating par levels and replenishment requisitions
- Possess strong computer knowledge including Micros, Microsoft, and SMS systems
- Provide professional, engaging and friendly service acting as a role model
- Participate in training and coaching new and existing team members
- Support and participate in incentive and motivation programs for team members
- Actively participate in operations to evaluate shortfalls and training needs
- Consistently follow Forbes standards
- Perform other duties as assigned.
