Job Requirements
- Must have at minimum an interim secret clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a final secret security clearance
- Must be a US citizen
- Candidates must be available to work all shifts dependent on mission requirements or customer needs
- Must be able to perform short notice travel for business, temporary duty (TDY), and extended TDY
- Candidate must be able to deploy to various locations for recovery, launch, and repair of aircraft
- Must be able to work onsite full-time at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona
- Experience level of experienced professional
- Ability to work Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
- Relocation availability is possible
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years fighter aircraft maintenance experience with a thorough understanding of fighter aircraft systems and flight line operations
- Minimum of 8 years experience as a supervisor or manager in an aircraft maintenance flight line environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with field service representatives and maintenance managers
- Effective communication skills for coordination across USAF wing levels including operations, maintenance, and logistics support managers
- Ability to lead a diverse workforce
- Ability to develop and present formal briefings and presentations
- Experience with programs such as aircraft scheduling, records management, job/maintenance control, configuration control, maintenance information system, tool and FOD control, training, safety, security, hazardous waste management, or supply chain management
Job Duties
- Interface with participant maintenance liaisons from F-35 partner nations and foreign military sales services
- Supervise daily maintenance and flying operations including building work shift schedules
- Attend daily maintenance and flight operations meetings as required
- Review completed work orders and accomplish aircraft safety of flight releases
- Ensure workforce follows appropriate technical instructions, Air Force Instruction 21-101, and local operating instructions
- Advise management of status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems
- Oversee maintenance activities and review quality assurance reports to ensure quality aircraft maintenance
- Perform root cause analysis on quality assurance findings and/or aircraft incidents to determine effective corrective actions
