Job Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • possess Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card
  • ability to adhere to safety, sanitation, and policy procedures
  • ability to organize dishes, utensils, and equipment for cleaning
  • ability to safely handle and change dish machine chemicals
  • ability to wash, sanitize, and dry dishes and equipment
  • ability to deliver dishes, utensils, and equipment to designated locations
  • ability to report equipment issues promptly
  • ability to complete opening, closing, and side duties
  • ability to stand for entire shift with minimal breaks
  • ability to work in noisy and fast-paced environments
  • ability to lift and carry 30 plus pounds
  • ability to work in hot and humid environments
  • good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
  • ability to work effectively as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 16 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card
  • ability to adhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy procedures
  • good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
  • ability to stand for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
  • ability to work in noisy, fast-paced, and distracting environments

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean and organized dish station
  • assist kitchen staff with prep when needed
  • support the team to keep service running smoothly
  • wash, sanitize, and dry all dishes and restaurant equipment
  • safely handle and change out dish machine chemicals
  • deliver dishes, utensils, and equipment to designated locations
  • report equipment quality issues to a manager promptly
