Job Duties
- Respond promptly to guest and departmental requests
- Fill cart with supplies and transport to assigned areas
- Enter guest rooms following procedures and ensure vacancy before entering
- Replace guest amenities and supplies
- Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items
- Make beds and fold terry
- Clean bathrooms
- Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items
- Check all appliances in rooms and ensure functionality
- Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
- Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties
- Follow company safety and security policies
- Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Store flammable materials properly
- Maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- Welcome and acknowledge guests
- Anticipate and address guest service needs
- Assist individuals with disabilities
- Speak using clear and professional language
- Support team goals
- Move, lift, carry, and place objects up to 25 pounds unassisted and over 25 pounds with assistance
- Push and pull loaded housekeeping carts over uneven surfaces
- Reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop as needed
- Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods
- Use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to manipulate objects
- Perform other job duties as directed
