Job Duties

  • Respond promptly to guest and departmental requests
  • Fill cart with supplies and transport to assigned areas
  • Enter guest rooms following procedures and ensure vacancy before entering
  • Replace guest amenities and supplies
  • Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items
  • Make beds and fold terry
  • Clean bathrooms
  • Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items
  • Check all appliances in rooms and ensure functionality
  • Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
  • Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
  • Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties
  • Follow company safety and security policies
  • Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Store flammable materials properly
  • Maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests
  • Anticipate and address guest service needs
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Speak using clear and professional language
  • Support team goals
  • Move, lift, carry, and place objects up to 25 pounds unassisted and over 25 pounds with assistance
  • Push and pull loaded housekeeping carts over uneven surfaces
  • Reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop as needed
  • Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods
  • Use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to manipulate objects
  • Perform other job duties as directed
