Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required

Job Duties

  • Prepare dish and tray presentations appropriately for banquets
  • Organize and operate food stations for banquets or buffets
  • Cut buffet meats as requested by guests
  • Provide support for banquet and buffet services ensuring adequate product availability
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to prepare dishes
  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, and peeling
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
  • Cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
  • Prepare cold dishes
  • Test dishes to ensure proper cooking
  • Maintain food quality during preparation
  • Set up and divide workstations
  • Serve food in appropriate portions and containers
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
  • Comply with all safety policies and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
  • Maintain professional personal appearance and uniform
  • Anticipate and respond to guest service needs
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
  • Support team efforts to reach common goals
  • Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards
  • Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, stretching, lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Execute other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
