Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Mixologist certification required
  • One to two years experience in a public contact position preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel
  • Ability to enter and locate work related information using computers and/or point of sale systems
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and various physical activities including bending, twisting and stooping

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Prepare beverages for guests in a timely manner and up to standards of the Director of Food and Beverage
  • Ensure consistent beverage preparation, presentation and quality
  • Exercise good judgments in determining potentially intoxicated guests
  • Maintain good coordination while preparing and serving orders quickly
  • Interact with guests and patrons
  • Ensure all working areas are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition at all times
  • Understand the operational set up and principle of the restaurant or lounge
  • Maintain knowledge of all menus within the hotel
  • Maintain stock and supplies of the banquet bar
