Job Requirements
- Vocational or technical certification or 2 years experience in mechanical maintenance facilities maintenance construction or related field
- Ability to lead and manage projects and teams
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prepare and manage budgets and cost controls
- Proficiency in coordinating with third party providers and internal teams
- Capable of troubleshooting facility maintenance issues
- Willingness to comply with company policies and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Vocational or technical certification in mechanical maintenance facilities maintenance or construction
- Minimum 2 years experience in mechanical maintenance facilities maintenance construction or related field
- Associates degree or similar certification in engineering maintenance construction management or related field preferred
- Certified facilities manager (CFM) preferred
- Third party management experience preferred
- Project Management Professional certification preferred
Job Duties
- Prepares and executes budgets by developing cost estimates on requested and planned projects
- Approves purchases of parts materials equipment and supplies
- Provides technical assistance and consultation to facilitate purchases
- Verifies purchase receipt and acceptance
- Manages internal scheduled projects by determining work assignment priority and planning work assignments
- Develops and maintains workforce and manpower needs
- Creates punch lists to document discrepancies ensuring completion of projects
- Sources verifies and approves material requisitions
- Gathers capital expenditures lists and develops scopes of work to update existing assets including landscaping snow events and seasonal maintenance
- Complies with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines
- Controls company costs by conducting price comparisons and submitting warranty claims
- Provides required paperwork for expense vouchers weekly summaries and work orders
- Leads third party providers by fostering professional growth and conducting performance evaluations
- Troubleshoots and provides customer service by communicating with facility users assessing and resolving problems
- Evaluates current and future replacement needs and implements upgrades for sustainability
- Coordinates and oversees job related activities by maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Develops communicates and implements processes and practices to meet business needs
- Demonstrates and supports compliance with company policies procedures ethics and integrity
- Leads and participates in teams by sharing resources information and tools and modeling adaptability to change
