Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in freight forwarding or time critical cargo
  • Ability to work flexible hours including 24/7 shift coverage
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficiency in English
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to travel when required
  • Work authorization for United States

  • Ability to travel according to business needs
  • Able to lift items weighing up to 30 lbs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with logistics and air freight industry standards

Job Duties

  • Evaluate customer needs and logistics courier requirements to formulate effective plans
  • Handle, monitor, and follow-up on incoming customer requests for OBC and NFO shipments in a 24/7 shift cover
  • Maximize business opportunities by offering tailored solutions within operational restrictions
  • Build strong productive relationships with clients to achieve business objectives
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in job duties
  • Work with management to develop and implement company policies
  • Prepare time-critical routing options with detailed and accurate client information
  • Allocate couriers and book travel arrangements
  • Communicate clear instructions to couriers and modify assignments as needed
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure service quality
  • Source, select, and negotiate with external suppliers and service providers
  • Manage debtor and creditor invoicing and order settlement
  • Maintain up-to-date communication with OBC/NFO coordinators
