- Experience with SAP software preferred
- Import and export logistics knowledge preferred but not required
- Professional manner and a strong ethical code
- Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive
- Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computers Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Strong typing and accuracy skills with attention to detail
- Commitment to working efficiently and accurately

Job Duties
- Confirm departure of export shipments from growers facilities to sea or ocean freight port
- Daily communication between suppliers ocean carriers customers and within company
- Work with sales team and accounting department to keep everyone abreast of order sales
- Receive and enter orders packing list details
- Provide customers with tracking information ETAs and statuses on orders
- Communicate regularly with transportation trucking shipment companies
- Negotiate best rates with transportation carriers to improve margins and cost
- Handling communications with customers and vendors via email and phone
- Processing transactions issuing checks EFT and ACH
