Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness, or related field
- Knowledge of accounting and mathematical principles
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and database/accounting software
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness, or related field required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Knowledge of accounting and mathematical principles (percentages, calculations, etc.)
- Understanding of agricultural production, international banking, and customs regulations preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database/accounting software
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Spanish language proficiency a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Communicate with customers, brokers, and agents to prepare and provide required export documentation
- Prepare invoices, shipping documents, and banking documents for international transactions
- Maintain and update reports on shipments, container and vessel loadings, and contracts
- Track payments and monitor compliance with payment terms
- Review and request amendments to letters of credit and other payment arrangements
- Calculate, negotiate, and settle lay-time with counterparties
- Provide vessel loading instructions and coordinate documentation with relevant parties
- Prepare load orders for unit train shipments
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor
