Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness, or related field
  • Knowledge of accounting and mathematical principles
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and database/accounting software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness, or related field required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting and mathematical principles (percentages, calculations, etc.)
  • Understanding of agricultural production, international banking, and customs regulations preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database/accounting software
  • Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Spanish language proficiency a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Communicate with customers, brokers, and agents to prepare and provide required export documentation
  • Prepare invoices, shipping documents, and banking documents for international transactions
  • Maintain and update reports on shipments, container and vessel loadings, and contracts
  • Track payments and monitor compliance with payment terms
  • Review and request amendments to letters of credit and other payment arrangements
  • Calculate, negotiate, and settle lay-time with counterparties
  • Provide vessel loading instructions and coordinate documentation with relevant parties
  • Prepare load orders for unit train shipments
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor
