Job Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
  • Ability to manage logistics operations including pickups, deliveries, and shipments documentation
  • Proficiency with shipment tracking software and Maestro system
  • Excellent communication skills, including timely reporting of delays
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a team
  • Commitment to adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Flexibility to perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple shipments and operational processes accurately
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Basic proficiency in computer systems used for shipment tracking and documentation
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
  • Previous experience in logistics or supply chain operations preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Dispatch drivers and agents for pickups, deliveries, drop offs and recoveries at the airport, broker, vendor or client sites
  • Ensure imports recovery and domestic transfers are made
  • Ensure that all export and domestic drops are made on time
  • Send pre-alerts to Marken office or agents concerned
  • Responsible for reviewing appropriate documentation, labeling and markings as included with each shipment
  • Advise pickups and deliveries delays in a timely manner
  • Responsible for preparing the N* ext *F light O ut shipments
  • Responsible for replenishing with proper weight of dry ice on those shipments that require dry ice, as well as those that require gel packs for temperature chain of custody
  • Confirm pieces, weights and dimensions after each collection and enter them in Maestro
  • Any late pick up or miss flights must be brought to the Supervisor attention and e-mail CS
  • Enter PODs in Maestro
  • Responsible for scanning, packaging, labeling In-bound shipments before tendering for final destination, either domestic or international shipping
  • Pick up the phone before 3rd ring
  • Ensure that all route legs are complete with all needed operational details and costs estimates entered in Maestro
  • Answer domestic and international "internal" quotes
  • Check import and export paperwork to make sure they are complete
  • Post flight all departure to make sure shipments left on booked flight
  • Liaise with customs brokers to pre alert imports and follow up on clearance status
  • Responsible for performing other duties as required helping the Operations Team complete daily tasks
