Job Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in logistics or dispatch preferred
- Ability to operate relevant logistics software
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility to undertake additional duties as required
- Commitment to adhere to company policies and safety regulations

- Familiarity with shipment documentation and import/export procedures
- Ability to use logistics software such as Maestro
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under time constraints
- Basic knowledge of customs brokerage processes
- Capability to understand and follow company policies and procedures
- Customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Dispatch drivers and agents for pickups, deliveries, drop offs and recoveries at the airport, broker, vendor or client sites
- Ensure imports recovery and domestic transfers are made
- Ensure that all export and domestic drops are made on time
- Send pre-alerts to Marken office or agents concerned
- Review appropriate documentation, labeling and markings as included with each shipment
- Advise pickups and deliveries delays in a timely manner
- Prepare next flight out shipments
- Replenish dry ice and gel packs for temperature-sensitive shipments
- Confirm pieces, weights and dimensions after each collection and enter them in Maestro
- Report late pickups or missed flights to supervisor and email customer service
- Enter proof of deliveries (PODs) in Maestro
- Scan, package and label inbound shipments before tendering for final destination
- Answer phone before the third ring
- Ensure all route legs are complete with all operational details and cost estimates in Maestro
- Respond to domestic and international internal quote requests
- Check import and export paperwork for completeness
- Verify post-flight departures to ensure shipments left on booked flight
- Liaise with customs brokers to pre-alert imports and follow up on clearance status
- Perform other duties as required to assist the Operations Team
