Job Requirements

  • Good organizational and verbal skills
  • ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues

  • visually monitor the operation areas
  • ability to write and read member communication
  • ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 30 lbs., up to 20 lbs. frequently
  • perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting, and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting
  • ability to consistently lift, carry and load equipment that may weigh 30 or more pounds, and sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes

Job Duties

  • Match order ticket(s) with prepared food items and sides once completed by the kitchen line staff
  • check presentation of plates for neatness and inclusion of all ordered items
  • monitor food quality and return sub-standard items to the kitchen
  • serve beverages and prepared meals to guests in an accurate and timely manner
  • communicate with service staff to inform them of orders that have been delivered or returned
  • keep orders in sequence to ease service process
  • keep workstations well stocked of items and ingredients
  • remove used plates, glasses, cutlery, and napkins from tables once diners are done
  • reset tables in a speedy professional and efficient manner
  • incorporate safe work practices in job performance
  • maintain a professional appearance
  • provide prompt and efficient customer service
  • check back to ensure guest(s) satisfaction
  • replenish items as necessary and/or requested
  • keep tables, dining room and workstations sanitized and organized
  • listen and respond to customer complaints
  • perform clean-up and closing procedures as assigned by the manager
  • perform other duties as assigned
