Job Duties

  • Match order ticket(s) with prepared food items and sides once completed by the kitchen line staff
  • Check presentation of plates for neatness and inclusion of all ordered items
  • Monitor food quality and return sub-standard items to the kitchen
  • Serve beverages and prepared meals to guests in an accurate and timely manner
  • Communicate with service staff to inform them of orders that have been delivered or returned
  • Keep orders in sequence to ease service process
  • Keep workstations well stocked of items and ingredients
  • Remove used plates, glasses, cutlery, and napkins from tables once diners are done
  • Reset tables in a speedy professional and efficient manner
  • Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Provide prompt and efficient customer service
  • Check back to ensure guest(s) satisfaction
  • replenish items as necessary and/or requested
  • Keep tables, dining room and workstation(s) sanitized and organized
  • Listen and respond to customer complaints
  • Perform clean-up and closing procedures as assigned by your manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned
