Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Current Food Handler Card or in process of certification
- Valid TABC license
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to transport up to 30 pounds continuously throughout shift
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must be neat, clean, and well-groomed
- Willingness to work varied PM shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of all State, Federal, and corporate liquor regulations
- Hold a current Food Handler Card or be in the process of certification
- Hold a valid TABC license
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards
- Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
- Basic English language skills for communication
- Ability to comprehend and apply written instructions
- Ability to remember and promote menu items
- Ability to operate beverage equipment such as coffee makers
Job Duties
- Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain specials and promotions
- Check station before, during, and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
- Record order details from guests and repeat for accuracy
- Input orders into Point of Sale system
- Retrieve order from kitchen, confirm accuracy, and deliver to guests with condiments
- Abide by all liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
- Replenish beverages as necessary and check for guest satisfaction
- Market and serve desserts and specialty coffees upon request
- Assist bus staff with clearing and resetting tables
- Perform assigned side work including restocking and replenishing condiments
- Perform general cleaning using standard hotel cleaning products
- Present guest checks promptly
- Adhere to company policies, safety, and security procedures
- Know fire prevention and emergency procedures
- Utilize protective equipment and report unsafe conditions
- Maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance
- Perform related duties as requested by supervisor or manager
