Job Requirements

  • High school degree or GED
  • Some experience in the restaurant or food service area as wait staff or cashier
  • Must be alcohol certified
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and background investigation
  • Native American preference will be given

  • Knowledge of dining and food maintenance operations and customer service
  • Knowledge of all menu items including entrees, side dishes, beverages, and desserts
  • Ability to communicate, read, and write clearly in basic English
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service at all times
  • Ability to service customers in a professional appearance and manner
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a stressful and busy environment
  • Ability to obtain food handler's certification within three months
  • Skill in providing excellent customer service
  • Skill in utilizing computer equipment and POS systems

Job Duties

  • Adheres to uniform standards set by the General Manager of the restaurant
  • Expedited food from the kitchen window and fills orders to be delivered to proper tables
  • Performs cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes, to keep equipment and facilities sanitary
  • Performs job duties in a safe and sanitary manner
  • Box menu items such as sandwiches, hot entrees, and desserts for takeout
  • Scrub and polish counters, steam tables, and other equipment, and clean glasses, dishes, and fountain equipment
  • Replenish beverages at serving stations and or guest tables
