Job Duties
- Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the front of house to the kitchen and that all staff adhere to health and safety standards
- Ensure orders are being completed on time and being prepared with the correct priority
- Inspect the cleanliness, presentation, and temperature of completed dishes
- Perform the finishing touches to completed dishes, such as adding garnishes
- Deliver orders to maintain fast service
- Eliminate obstacles in service, including but not limited to food preparation lines or dishwashing
- Inform the waitstaff when certain dishes or ingredients have run out and emphasize specific food requests from the front of house team to the kitchen
- Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning
- Transfer important information between the management team, kitchen, and front of house staff
- Execute other support tasks as needed
