Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least one year related experience
  • Must successfully pass a background investigation
  • Must have a valid driver's license, with a safe driving record and the ability to have/arrange own transportation

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook and Word

  • Ability to function in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish at an intermediate level or above preferred

Job Duties

  • Assists in the day-to-day responsibilities of the experiential learning spaces
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment in our experiential learning spaces
  • Provide exceptional customer service by instructing and assisting customers with software and equipment
  • Organize and oversee the use of supplies, tools and materials used in experiential learning spaces
  • Implement and facilitate hands-on programming for makers of all ages
  • Collaborate with supervisor to enhance programs
  • Maintain interdepartmental relationships and seek new ways for these spaces to serve as a resource to other library departments
  • Performs other duties as assigned
