Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 21 years of age
  • 5+ years of food and beverage management experience in hospitality-driven environments in both front of house and back of house
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to drive results in a complex, high-growth company
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Ability to develop customer relationships
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and best practices in kitchen and bar sanitation

Job Qualifications

  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours including nights and weekends
  • 10+ years relevant experience preferred
  • Experience with new location openings preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead with impact by overseeing daily operations of the café, coffee program, and cocktail service delivering a true 5-star standard
  • Elevate the guest experience by creating unforgettable moments that connect visitors to the Buffalo Trace legacy through food, drink, and hospitality
  • Champion food safety and quality by developing and enforcing best-in-class food safety practices, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring every item served meets quality standards
  • Manage operations and results by creating SOPs, managing budgets, tracking KPIs, and overseeing inventory, labor, and cost control strategies
  • Drive performance and growth by using the professional development system (PDS) to set goals, track success, and invest in professional growth and team development
