Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, event management or related field
  • 4-7 years of experience in experiential event production, event marketing or related field
  • Proven ability to conceptualize, design and execute complex in-person and hybrid events
  • Strong marketing strategy and promotion skills
  • Experience with budgeting, financial tracking, forecasting and revenue management
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a multi-project environment
  • Familiarity with legal and compliance aspects of event management
  • Experience with sponsor relations and revenue-focused events
  • Must be able to work onsite regularly for events

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, event management or related field
  • 4-7 years of professional experience in experiential event production, event marketing or comparable area
  • Experience with media, journalism, corporate and non-profit events preferred
  • Proven ability to concept, design and produce complex in-person and hybrid events
  • Strong background in marketing strategy, promotions and digital tools
  • Demonstrated experience with budgeting, financial tracking, forecasting and revenue projections
  • Ability to manage project budgets, monitor expenses and report financial performance
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret marketing, event and audience data
  • Experience supervising staff or contractors
  • Excellent organizational, project management and communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-project environments with tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with legal, regulatory and compliance requirements for events including permits and health guidelines
  • Experience working with sponsors or revenue-driven events preferred
  • Ability to maintain regular onsite presence for events

Job Duties

  • Lead end-to-end event production including creative concepting and immersive environment design
  • Design stages, sets, scenic elements and interactive experiences to elevate events
  • Manage communication and planning with internal teams and external stakeholders including sponsors and vendors
  • Supervise vendor relationships including contract negotiations and service agreements
  • Manage timelines, budgets, contracts, and overall event operations including on-site production
  • Ensure sponsor activations are integrated creatively within event experiences
  • Develop event run-of-show documents, staffing plans, communication workflows and stage management plans
  • Provide guidance on event technology including A/V production, live broadcasts and hybrid event setups
  • Lead event and campaign advertising across multiple channels including print, digital and social media
  • Develop and manage integrated marketing strategies ensuring alignment with audience needs
  • Create high-quality written content that maintains a consistent brand voice
  • Collaborate internally to create content that drives engagement
  • Track and optimize marketing campaigns using analytics
  • Work closely with news/editorial, philanthropy and sponsorship teams for alignment
  • Execute sponsorship activations and identify monetization opportunities
  • Serve as the operational hub for multi-team coordination
  • Supervise Event and Marketing Specialist with coaching and development
  • Assign tasks and review deliverables for marketing and events workstreams
  • Build and manage project timelines, budgets and resource plans
  • Track expenses and provide financial reporting
  • Produce post-event reports including KPIs and sponsor fulfillment
  • Ensure all event experiences and marketing materials meet brand standards
  • Collaborate with creative partners to produce high-quality content
  • Support storytelling and brand alignment through event experiences
