Job Requirements

  • Applicant must be at least 21 years of age
  • Minimum 1-2 years previous experience in high volume food service operation/preparation is preferred (Asian Cuisine preferred)
  • Must have excellent customer service/communication skills
  • Must have knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and/or entire shift
  • Be able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust

Job Duties

  • Prepares food items as directed, ensuring each order sent out is uniform and consistent
  • Prepares food, including hot entrees for our Asian dishes, to specification in an accurate and timely manner to provide guests with a quality product
  • Controls food production to include proper cooking methods, cooking time and temperature, ensuring sanitation, handling and storage of prepared food and prepares leftovers
  • Demonstrates competent product knowledge by correct storing and handling of all perishables, maintaining quality, security, value and integrity
  • Oversees proper care, storage, use and cleaning of all tools and equipment
  • Effectively communicates with other team members, including service and kitchen maintenance personnel
  • Maintains assigned station in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with department service standards and job functions
