Job Requirements
- applicant must be at least 21 years of age
- must be able to work any day of the week and any shift including holidays and weekends
- must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and/or entire shift
- be able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke high noise levels bright lights and dust
Job Qualifications
- minimum 1-2 years' previous experience in high-volume food service operation/preparation preferred Asian cuisine preferred
- must have excellent customer service/communication skills
- must have knowledge of kitchen sanitation operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment
Job Duties
- prepares food items as directed ensuring each order sent out is uniform and consistent
- prepares food including hot entrees for our Asian dishes to specification in an accurate and timely manner to provide guests with a quality product
- controls food production to include proper cooking methods cooking time and temperature ensuring sanitation handling and storage of prepared food and prepares leftovers
- oversees proper care storage use and cleaning of all tools and equipment
- demonstrates competent product knowledge by correct storing and handling of all perishables maintaining quality security value and integrity
- effectively communicates with other team members including service and kitchen maintenance personnel
- maintains assigned station in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with department service standards and job functions
