Job Requirements

  • Must have previous experience in travel industry, preferably business travel
  • Proficiency with Sabre Global Distribution System
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • Detail oriented
  • Commitment to acting with integrity
  • Capability to resolve customer issues independently
  • Understanding of travel fares and ticketing rules
  • Must be located in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of experience in travel, preferably business travel
  • Understanding of fares and ticketing rules for car, air, and hotel
  • Native expertise in Apollo and Galileo GDS
  • Strong professional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Integrity and ability to handle personal traveler information confidentially
  • Strong understanding of the travel industry including business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and openness to feedback

Job Duties

  • Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers including individuals and groups
  • Arrange and book domestic and international business travel for air, road, rail, and accommodations
  • Utilize Global Distribution System (GDS) experience, specifically Sabre, to manage travel bookings
  • Communicate effectively with customers via telephone, messaging, email, and back-office systems
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing travel expertise and proactively selling additional services while adhering to company travel policies
  • Work individually and with team members to meet business and account-specific goals including customer satisfaction and service metrics
  • Resolve customer issues quickly and independently
