Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Minimum 2 years experience in a fast-paced kitchen
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must stand and work for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Proficient in sushi preparation and knife skills
- Food handler or ServSafe certification
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Availability to work between 8 am and 11 pm
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Must be able to follow directions and ask clarifying questions
Job Qualifications
- Be 18 years of age
- Minimum 2 years experience as a line cook in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Experience in high-volume sushi or restaurant environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Leadership abilities

- Time management skills
- Attention to detail and presentation
- Creativity in sushi presentation

- Willingness to train junior staff

- Prepare sushi and sashimi dishes with precision
- Utilize expert knife skills for cutting seafood

- Mentor and train junior kitchen staff
