Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment
  • Ability to work night shifts
  • Must be able to commute to Tacoma, WA 98406
  • Willingness to relocate to Tacoma, WA before starting work
  • Physical stamina to handle kitchen demands
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a sous chef or similar kitchen leadership role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Knowledge of inventory management and menu planning
  • Ability to train and mentor kitchen staff
  • Creativity in minimizing food waste
  • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards

Job Duties

  • Assist in managing prepped items and food supplies
  • Help with menu planning and inventory processes
  • Oversee and delegate cleaning tasks
  • Ensure recipes and portion sizes are followed correctly
  • Accept, check, and file invoices accurately
  • Communicate stock levels and reorder needs promptly
  • Lead kitchen team during opening and closing responsibilities
