Job Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of recent food service experience or training as Wait Staff I
- English language proficiency in verbal and written communication
- Current food handler's card or ability to obtain it
- Reliable transportation
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Availability to work variable hours including weekends and on-call shifts
- Ability to work safely in close proximity to co-workers and equipment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of recent experience in food services or relevant field
- Training as a Wait Staff I is preferred
- Strong verbal and written English language skills
- Ability to interact respectfully and kindly with older adults
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Possession or ability to obtain a food handler's card
Job Duties
- Serve residents in the health services areas in a timely and courteous manner
- Provide high-level customer service that meets fine dining standards
- Interact with residents and guests in a friendly and respectful manner
- Communicate effectively in English with co-workers and residents
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations by maintaining a current food handler's card
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in dining areas
- Adapt to variable hours and be available on call, including weekends
