Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant serving role preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash and process different types of payments
- Physical ability to carry plates and stand for extended periods
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and professionalism
- Willingness to work in a team environment
- Compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Alcohol service certification a plus
- Basic mathematical skills
- Basic reading skills
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, including standard drink recipes
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently
Job Duties
- Provide technically perfect, edged, polished, fun, personalized, warm, sincere, and modern service
- Serve 3 to 4 tables as assigned by management
- Check identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase
- Possess complete knowledge of the restaurant's food and beverage preparation
- Use a computer to ring orders accurately
- Communicate clearly and enthusiastically with guests to make them feel appreciated
- Offer assistance proactively before guests ask
- Collaborate effectively with all company personnel to maintain efficient food and beverage service
- Accept various payment types and make correct change
- Manage issues related to guests' excessive drinking by persuading or arranging transportation
- Maintain side work duties and ensure cleanliness and smooth restaurant operation
- Clear and reset tables promptly
- Adhere to dress code and personal grooming standards
- Carry plates to tables
- Perform other duties as directed
