Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience working as a server in fine dining or hospitality sectors
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform demanding tasks
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a server in a food service or restaurant environment, especially within fine dining or nightlife venues
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
  • excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest needs professionally
  • Culinary experience or background in food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities
  • Experience with bussing tables, host/hostess duties, or supporting kitchen operations is advantageous
  • Basic math skills for cashiering, check splitting, and transaction accuracy
  • Knowledge of the food industry trends related to hospitality, guest services, and food preparation

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using advanced POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail
  • Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend wine pairings, and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
  • Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
  • Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
  • Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to maintain smooth operations in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub or fine dining setting
