Within CBP, the Air and Marine Operations (AMO) division plays a pivotal role in advancing national security through the deployment of sophisticated air and marine resources. Job Requirements

valid commercial pilot certificate
minimum required flight hours as specified by AMO
ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
physical fitness meeting federal law enforcement standards
U.S. citizenship
willingness to travel and relocate as needed
completion of required training programs

Job Qualifications

certificate as a commercial pilot
documented flight hours meeting AMO standards
experience in complex flight operations
knowledge of aviation safety protocols
law enforcement training or certification preferred
ability to work in high-stress situations
strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

conduct aerial surveillance and reconnaissance
intercept and interdict illegal activities
operate fixed-wing and rotary aircraft in diverse environments
collaborate with other law enforcement agencies
execute law enforcement missions including apprehensions
maintain aircraft safety and operational readiness
participate in specialized training and professional development
