Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional pastry kitchen or culinary setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent training is preferred
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness
- Passion for pastry arts and a desire to continuously learn and improve
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to follow instructions and take on new challenges

Job Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods following recipes and guidelines set by the Pastry Chef
- Ensure all pastries and baked goods are made to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Assist in the development of new pastry recipes and menu items
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory and supplies, ensuring proper storage and minimizing waste
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, performing maintenance or reporting issues as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, conducting regular cleaning and inspections
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Mentor and train junior pastry staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Participate in kitchen meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new techniques and standards
