Job Requirements

  • Must have availability on Sundays
  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Must have Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card or be willing to obtain one
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
  • Ability to work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry 30+ lbs
  • Ability to work in hot and humid environments
  • Good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
  • Self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  • Must be able to multitask and retain multiple called ticket items

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen terminology and knife skills
  • Ability to multitask and retain multiple called ticket items
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy procedures
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items and ingredients
  • Read all printed tickets carefully with attention to detail
  • Accurately produce orders following recipe guidelines and ticket specifications
  • Monitor the temperature of equipment and food cook times while taking personal pride in every item delivered for service
  • Operate oven, fryer, grill, and other kitchen equipment safely
  • Effectively coordinate the timing of the various products and courses for every order regardless of station
