Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a line cook or similar role in a high-volume kitchen
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Physical capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, holidays, and weekends
- Valid food handler’s certification from the state of Florida
- Strong commitment to safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous prep or line cook experience in high-volume, full-service restaurant or food and beverage outlet
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Full range of motion in arms, fingers, hands, and legs
- Ability to lift, push, or pull minimum of 50 pounds
- Flexible schedule availability including holidays and weekends
- Current Florida state food handler's certificate
Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of foods including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment
- Perform food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing cooked items
- Handle, store, and rotate all food products properly
- Maintain a sanitary work station in compliance with safety and health regulations
- Ensure adherence to company standardized recipes
- Work flexible hours including days, nights, holidays, and weekends
- Maintain current Florida state food handler's certificate
