Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a line cook or similar role in a high-volume kitchen
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Physical capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Valid food handler’s certification from the state of Florida
  • Strong commitment to safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Previous prep or line cook experience in high-volume, full-service restaurant or food and beverage outlet
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Full range of motion in arms, fingers, hands, and legs
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull minimum of 50 pounds
  • Flexible schedule availability including holidays and weekends
  • Current Florida state food handler's certificate

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of foods including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment
  • Perform food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing cooked items
  • Handle, store, and rotate all food products properly
  • Maintain a sanitary work station in compliance with safety and health regulations
  • Ensure adherence to company standardized recipes
  • Work flexible hours including days, nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Maintain current Florida state food handler's certificate
