Job Requirements

  • Ability to understand recipes and food abbreviations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to follow procedures, take directions, and work in a team environment
  • Basic math skills to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions
  • Must be available to work nights and weekends
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds or more
  • Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
  • Exposure to variable temperatures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food preparation or as a line cook preferred
  • Ability to understand culinary recipes and food abbreviations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills to measure and follow recipe proportions
  • Ability to follow procedures and work well in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Follow the assignments for opening and closing procedures
  • Prepare food and beverage products following recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines
  • Set up and operate kitchen equipment
  • Keep workstation and equipment clean, organized, and sufficiently stocked
  • Understand and follow recipes and food abbreviations
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and quality food production
